Frequently Asked Questions
What is a project?
A project consists of a 3D scene (a file in one of the supported formats) and a set of options that determine how that project is displayed in Edro 3D. Each project is assigned to an organization upon creation, and has a unique URL that allows you to share it with other users.
What is an organization?
An organization groups users who work together, within the same company or workgroup. When a project is created, it is associated with an organization, but an organization can also be an individual user. The owner of an organization can invite other users, and these users will have access to all the organization's projects, with the configured permission level.
How do permissions work? How can I configure who can do what?
You can configure permissions at the organization level or at the project level. When you assign a permission to a user at the organization level, that permission is automatically granted to all projects within the organization. You can view the list of permissions and their meanings at this link.
What happens to my projects if I unsubscribe from edro 3d pro?
If you unsubscribe from edro 3d pro plan, once your paid period ends you will be reverted to edro 3d free plan, and project creation and user sharing will be limited accordingly. However, your organization's projects will continue to exist as you left them, users will still be able to access them, including public links and embedded code. We will not delete or change the visibility of any of your projects!
